Big Red Fall In Season Opener
The MBA 7th grade football team traveled to Coopertown Middle School to kick off their regular season against a strong 8th grade Eagle squad. Having practiced only seven times together before the opener, all 75 Big Red players saw time on the field and played well. Quarterback Tucker Voges lead the team down the field and scored on a short run to give MBA their only touchdown of the night, and Carson Shaw punched it in on the two point conversion. The team will host the combined Overbrook / St. Matthew team next Thursday at Tommy Owen Stadium.
