The MBA 7th grade football team faced a great St. Henry squad in their second game in three days at Tommy Owen Stadium. Evenly matched and exchanging possessions for most of the first quarter, St. Henry scored after a fumbled MBA punt snap provided great field position for the Tigers. Driving again in the red zone just before the half, St. Henry's pass attempt was picked off by Carson Shaw at the three yard line and returned 28 yards. D.J. Clark's great catch and run as time expired in the half was not enough and the halftime score was 7 - 0 St. Henry. The second half saw the MBA offensive and defensive line play improve. Unfortunately, the Big Red could not get the ball into the endzone and St. Henry emerged with the 7 - 0 win. MBA faces a very physical Dickson County team next Thursday at home.
