Big Red Spoil Harding's Homecoming
The MBA 7th grade football team traveled to the USN River Campus to face a combined 7th-8th Harding Academy / USN football team on a sunny Tuesday afternoon. The game saw many three and out series from both teams, fumbles by both sides, and became a defensive struggle. The turning point of the game came just before the end of the first half with Harding Academy in the red zone and about to score. Cornerback Vinny Gaglione intercepted a pass at the MBA two yard line and returned it 98 yards for the only score of the game. The Big Red played well in the second half, coming up with several fantastic defensive stands to secure the victory.
