MBA routs BGA

MBA defeated BGA 45-10 in the first round of the TSSAA play-offs.  The Big Red was sharp in all three phases of the game.  MBA's defense held BGA's running back to 55 yards.  William Tanner added 2 interceptions.  One of which was returned for a TD.  On special teams Andrew Fletcher added another FG to his impressive resume.  The offense scored on the ground and through the air racking up over 400 total yards.  Fitz Lassing and Tyler Franks churned up yards on the ground.  Aaron Simonis was 9 for 11 with 2 TD passes as he made his second start at QB. 

The TSSAA 'Mercy Rule' was implemented in the 3rd quarter.  This rule keeps a running clock whenever the margin is 35 points or greater in the second half.  MBA takes on Ensworth this Friday in the quarterfinals.  Roll Red
