Big Red Wins Opener!

MBA won the regular season opener 20-6 over CPA. The offensive line showed poised and grit as they opened holes for Gordon Pollock and Will Nutter much of the contest. Both backs scored on runs of 30 and 40 yds. respectively. Ford Ray added a two point conversion and had a touchdown saving tackle on special teams. Ty Allen continues to improve at QB and the defense was tenacious. Houston Hartle(DT) picked up a fumble and rumbled 70 yds. to round out the scoring. Hartle along with Dayton Roby and Alexander Roberts were leaders on the defensive side of the ball. Alex McClellan and Jack Crawford also had stellar games from their cornerback positions. Overall it was a productive day but there is a lot of room for improvement. The MBA 7th gr. team will host a tough St. Henry team next week. Roll Red!!
