Tough Loss

The MBA 7th gr. football team suffered a 14-0 loss to St. Henry. It was a hard fought contest. The score remained 6-0 until about three minutes left in the 4th quarter. St. Henry went up 6-0 after a failed 4th and 1 attempt by MBA on our opening drive. The defense showed great poise stopping their opponent multiple times in Big Red territory. Alexander Roberts had a great interception inside our 10 yd. line during the second half. He nearly scored but a touchdown saving tackle was made by a St. Henry player. Harrison Graves had a big game from his strong safety position, and showed a lot of promise at tailback. Linebacker Gordon Pollock led the defense. Carter McClellan also was a noticeable figure from his free safety position. The Big Red takes on St. Edwards next week and looks to bounce back with a victory!
