Big Red Rolls!

The Big Red bounced back and notched a big win over a very strong St. Edwards team. The MBA offense didn't score, but consumed a lot of the clock with sustained drives in the second half. The defense was outstanding. Time and gain they shut down their opponent on third down conversion attempts. Cal Bryan was chosen as a game captain, and proceeded to have a great game. He scored MBA's lone touchdown on a 55 yd. touchdown jaunt after recovering a fumble. This was the result from a bone jarring sack by DE Will Nutter. Placekicker Jack O'Brien added the extra point which provided the margin of victory. St. Edwards scored in the 4th quarter but were unable to convert their two point conversion attempt. Gordon Pollock, Harrison Graves , Wesley Hall and Jackson Abbey were standouts throughout the game. Patrick Butner also was a standout on both sides of the ball. This was a team effort with lots of encouragement and support coming from the sideline. The intersquad Cardinal Silver Scrimmage will be next week and all players will have the opportunity to play under game like situations. Come out and support the team. Roll Red!
