Big Red wins in OT

MBA defeated Harpeth High School today in the Overton Tournament 59-47 in overtime. After leading most of regulation and building a 9 pt lead on two occasions, the Big Red were unable to close out the Harpeth Indians. MBA owned the overtime, however, outscoring Harpeth 17-5 for the final margin. With Alex Bars away at the Under Armour All-American football game, Parker Bryan stood in and led with a career high 15 points. Jermaine Francis and Elliott Morrissey chipped in 10 apiece as well. Duncan Smith added 7 and Joe McKinney had 6 on two big 3 pointers. MBA finishes the tournament with a game at 5:00pm tomorrow, played at First Pres Church across from Overton.
