Big Red defeats St. Benedict

In the second game of their Memphis trip, the MBA basketball team defeated St. Benedict 55-45 today in Memphis.  While the Big Red led wire to wire, the game was hotly contested until an MBA run early in the 4th extended the lead to double figures.  Twelve scratched in the scoring column today with Joe McKinney leading the way with 11, followed by Duncan Smith with 9.  

MBA opens league play next Friday with an always difficult trip to Baylor.
