MBA Earns Road Victory Over Millington

MBA rolled into Memphis on Friday night and was able to defeat the previously unbeaten Trojans of Millington with a score of 42-20 to improve their record to 5-1 on the season. The Big Red and the Trojans traded touchdowns on thier first two drives respectively, but MBA was able to punch in a third touchdown before half on a short pass from senior quarterback Cole Euverard to junior tight end Jordan Wilson to take a 21-14 lead into halftime. Millington was able to get into the end zone for a third time at the beginning on the second half, but that was the last that they would see of the Big Red endzone as the defense was able to contain the explosive Trojan offense for the remainder of the night. Euverard was able to connect on two more touchdown passes on the night. One to senior tailback Michael Lacey, and the other to senior receiver Austin Rolfe. Tailbacks Derrick Tusie and Ty Chandler combined for well over 200 yards rushing on the night as well as accounting for two MBA touchdowns.

MBA will return to action on Thursday night at home against Ensworth at Tommy Owen Stadium.
