Varsity 8+ Earns Bronze at Secret City
The Big Red Crew team raced in Oak Ridge, TN at the Secret City Head Race. It was a strong day of racing for the team.
The First Varsity Eight earned a Bronze medal in field of 13 boats. The Second Varsity Eight finished 8th in the same field and placed ahead of all of the B boats except for McCallie's B boat. The Second Varsity was just 5 seconds behind the McCallie B boat.
The Varsity Four raced a strong race after only a short time of rowing together, we looking forward to seeing their speed increase as the season continues.
The Novice Eight raced their fastest race of the season. They are a young boat with a growing competitive spirit,
The team is sending it's top boats the Head of the Hooch in Chattanooga, TN next weekend!
