Big Red downs St. Benedict

The Big Red basketball team rode an 18-1 first quarter start to victory over St. Benedict at Harpeth Hall on Saturday evening.  The Eagles cut the lead to 8 at the half with a strong 2nd quarter, but a solid second half from the Big Red sealed the win.  Joe McKinney led in scoring with 18, followed by Jordan Wilson with 12, Jermaine Francis with 9 and John Hazen with 7.  Ten scored in all in the team win.  The Big Red are in action Monday night at the BA classic, taking on Bob Jones High School from Alabama.
