Big Red Shoots Well At Hog Heaven
Twenty-two Big Red shooters made the trip to Hog Heaven Gun Club in White Pine, TN, to compete against some of the best teams in East Tennessee on Saturday. Conditions were cold, windy, and wet, but the team was up for the challenge. Squad V1 shot a 407, Squad V2 shot a 404, and Squad V3 shot a 344. Squad JV1 shot a respectable 363. JV shooters Joseph Hatcher and Harrison Wachtler shot personal high round scores of 23. Our two alternates competed on a mixed squad and represented the team well. Top scores for the team were Sam Garrett (87), Brodie Poe (85), and Devon O'Donnell (84). Jonty Brackenbridge, an exchange student from Christ College in Christchurch, New Zealand, also made the trip with the team and enjoyed a great experience. The team will compete in a dual match this Thursday against CPA and Hume-Fogg. Roll Red!
