In the 86th matchup of the Big Red and the Irish, MBA shutout the Irish in front of our home crowd 35-0. Behind a potent running attack and a suffocating defense, MBA was able to invoke the mercy rule en route to a 6-0 season record. Senior tailback Karlton Bruton put the Big Red on the board first with a 4 yard touchdown run on the first possession of the game. Following an interception by senior cornerback Winston Hewitt, junior tailback Ty Chandler scored on a 28 yard touchdown run. Chandler would finish the night with 193 yards and 4 touchdowns as he would add runs of 8 and 22 yards. Senior quarterback Glenn Coleman completed 7 of 10 pass attempts for 123 yards on the night. Defensively, MBA was senior defensive lineman D'On Coofer and senior linebackers David Gaw and Sam Sullivan. Next week will be Homecoming week on campus as MBA will take on Pope John Paul II.
