MBA defeats USN

The Big Red JS Soccer Team continued their winning ways with a comprehensive 8-1 win over USN this afternoon.  Though we allowed our first goal against of the season, goalkeeper Ricky Reynolds saved a penalty kick and Quinn Sberna made a sliding stop on a break away to keep the Tigers from more.  The best form of defense this afternoon turned out to be through attacking.  Scott Martin tallied a hatrick, Jameson Meriwether and Powell Byram scored from distance, while Luke Sullivan, Miller Ruehling, and Jess Judy added to their goal contributions on the year.

The Big Red are back in action next Tuesday, when we host a rematch of last year's championship game against Harding Academy at 4pm on the soccer pitch.
