The Boys in the Boat Author to Speak at MBA on September 11

Author Daniel James Brown will be a featured speaker at MBA on September 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the Pfeffer Auditorium. Brown wrote MBA's all-school read, The Boys in the Boat, which tells the story of the 1936 U.S. Men's Olympic rowing team. The team would capture gold in the Olympics in a narrow victory over Germany and Italy. The book earned Brown multiple awards and recognitions including the 2014 Indies Choice Non-Fiction Book of the Year. The event is free and open to the public.
