Bill Hardin Published in Virginia Magazine of History and Biography

MBA faculty member Dr. Bill Hardin recently had an essay published in the Virginia Magazine of History and Biography. Hardin's piece, "This Unpleasant Business" focuses on the 1799 legal case of Pleasants v. Pleasants in Virginia which concerned the fate of 400 slaves who eventually were freed. Robert Pleasants became a main proponent of lobbying the Virginia government to end slave trade.
