MBA Debate Makes History at Greenhill Invitational

MBA sent two policy teams to the prestigious Greenhill Round Robin Invitational in Dallas, Texas this past weekend. MBA was the only team to have two individual teams invited to the 16-team Round Robin event which features the sixteen best teams in the country. At the end of seven rounds, the teams of Ben Jablonski/Aden Barton and Atticus Glen/Julian Habermann took first place in their respective divisions. This feat meant that for the first time in the history of the tournament, two teams from the same school tied for first place in the Round Robin.

At the invitational the next day, MBA finished with three teams in the top ten of 130 total teams. Patrick Dennis and Jack Rankin finished in 9th, Glen and Habermann finished 5th, and Jablonski and Barton finished 2nd.

After this weekend's results, the team of Barton and Jablonski will start the season as the number one ranked team in the nation.
