Eddie George Named to MBA Board of Trustees
MBA is pleased to announce that Eddie George was unanimously elected as member of The Board of Trustees on Thursday. George won the Heisman Trophy in 1995, had his number 27 jersey retired from Ohio State, was drafted in the 1st Round with the 14th overall pick of the 1996 NFL draft, was the NFL AP Offensive Rookie of the Year in 1996, and was a four-time Pro Bowl selection. He had his number 27 retired by the Titans in a ceremony last week.
George's journey after football has seen him earn a Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, perform on Broadway in the musical Chicago, and serve the Nashville community in myriad ways.
George attended a boys school, is engaged in MBA through his son, delivered the Commencement Address at MBA in 2017, and has taught theater classes at MBA.
