MBA Falls to a Tough Byrnes Team

The Big Red were unable to match what is surely one of the finest high school football teams in the country in the Clinic Bowl Kickoff Classic held at Vanderbilt Stadium Saturday night. After stopping the Rebels on their two initial drives, the Big Red surrendered touchdowns on seven consecutive drives to an extraordinarily talented offensive unit. The Big Red offense was hampered by four first-half turnovers before managing a pair of second-half scores. MBA now looks forward to avenging last year's loss against Trinity this Saturday night at 6:00 at Tommy Owen Stadium.
