The MBA Precision Rifle Platoon lead by team captain Joe Scherrer continued their late season dual match competition this weekend outshooting a young St Louis High School team on their home range in a double header 3 Position Air Rifle match and International Standing Air Rifle match. Big Red junior Adam Hawiger led the way during the 3 Position match contributing 577 points to the team season best total of 2285 against SLUHS's 2264. In the 40 shot International Standing Air Rifle match Hawiger did it again contributing 375 points toward the squad total of 1467 besting the Bilikin's1437. See attached photo.

 

8th grade varsity shooter Nathan Sharp also turned in a sizzling personal best of 564 during the 3 Position match.

 

The Rifles will be back in action on 5 March when they compete in the NRA Tennessee Open Standing Air Rifle and 3 Position Small-bore championships in Knoxville, TN.
