Thirteen students are accepted to Tennessee Honor Choirs!

This year the music department will send thirteen singers to honor choirs in Tennessee. Their first performance will be at 6:30pm on Tuesday, November 15th at Christ Church in Nashville. Nineteen MBA boys auditioned amongst hundreds of students from around the middle Tennessee area. Out of the nineteen that auditioned, thirteen made either the Freshman Honor Choir or the Middle Tennessee Honor Choir. This is nearly twice the number of MBA students who were accepted in the past.  In addition, two students were accepted to the highly prestigious Tennessee All-State Choir and five were ranked as All-State alternates. Students involved in the All-State Choir will travel to Chattanooga in April to spend four days at the Tennessee Music Educators Convention where they will have the opportunity to perform with other outstanding students from around the state.
 

 

Please join us at Christ Church Nashville (15354 Old Hickory Boulevard) on Tuesday, November 15th at 6:30pm to celebrate the accomplishments of these young men. The concert will be held in two parts 6:30-7:30 (freshman) and 7:30-8:30 (10-12th grade choirs). The concert is free and open to the public.
