Frankllin Garstin and Jashon Robertson claim State Championships!

The Big Red wrestling team competed over the weekend at the State Individual Championships.  Senior Franklin Garstin 195 lbs. and junior Jay Robertson 285 lbs. both won state titles in their respected weight classes.  It has been way too long since we have had 2 state champs in the same year and I want to congratulate these boys on their accomplishments.  Also have a great tournament  was senior Morris Egaukun who finished runner-up at 220 lbs.  Wells Hamilton 145 lbs. and Ben Barton 152 lbs. both finished strong by placing 4th place.  Having a wonderful tournament was Sam Bellet 106 lbs. who finished 5th place.  Mark Floyd 120lbs., John Tully 132 lbs. and Blake Patton all finished 6th place.  Other wrestlers who competed well but fell just short of their goal were Jed Griffin 113 lbs., Blake Solarek 126lbs., Stephen Johnson 138 lbs., Jake Keen 160 lbs. and Cole Euverard at 182 lbs.
