Novice Four Earns Silver at the Chattanooga Head Race

The MBA Crew team hit the water at the Chattanooga Head Race on Saturday, October 12th, competing in their first 5k race of the season. It is clear both the state and the SE Region are gaining in size and speed. The team as a whole had a strong showing and the First Novice Four earned a silver medal in their race.

Novice Four - Placed 2nd of 14 crews with a time 19:47.8

Oarsmen Hayes Alley, John Fioravanti, Heyward Rogers, Neil Richardson and coxswain (7th grader) Connor Krumm.

Novice Eight - Placed 12th of 15 crews with a time 22:01

Oarsmen: Will Weaver, Mac Roberts, Duncan McGinn, John Glover, Owen Currey, Dean Cheevers, John Whitaker, John Lang and coxswain Jack Pickel

Varsity Fours:

1st Varsity Four - Placed 9th of 26 crews with a time of 18:58.7

Oarsmen: Henry Ingram, Taylor Adams, Harrison Davis, Stroud McMahan and coxswain Owen Hughes

2nd Varsity Four - Placed 18th of 26 with a time of 20:12.7

Oarsmen: Gage Anderson, Jack Duke, Cameron Travis, Si Deane and coxswain Connor Krumm

3rd Varsity Four - Placed 25th of 26 with a time of 22:40.5

Alex Boone, Magnus Campos, Palmer Eintsman, Seth Cook and coxswain Evans Looney

Varsity Eight - Placed 7th of 18 crews with a time of 17:13.3

Oarsmen: Sam Gregory, Jordan Pugh, Cameron Travis, Si Deane, Harrison Davis, Taylor Adams, Gage Anderson, Stroud McMahan and coxswain Owen Hughes

The team is set to compete next in Oak Ridge, TN on October 26th at the Seceret City Head Race.
