Over fall break, Big Red Debate traveled to two tournaments in Dallas and Atlanta. At Johns Creek High School in Georgia, the squad continued its very strong Fall run. In the novice division, MBA again reinforced its nickname of "the wrecking crew", notching a total record of 32 wins and 6 losses, and had two co-champion teams, including Ben Rosenthal, Vincent Zhang, Alvin Zhang, and 7th grader Jack Rankin. Rosenthal also earned top speaker honors, and the group placed 9 speakers in the top 16. And the team of Thomas Daniels and Nadir Saleh were the top seed going into elimination rounds. In the JV division, the team of Adam Young and Yavin Alwis also did very well, getting 2nd place, with Young earning 4th speaker honors.
Also, at the prestigious St. Marks School Tournament in Texas, Sam Hurd and Tony Ding reached the Quarterfinals in Extemporaneous speaking.
