CORE Hoops offers year round basketball events that are designed for athletes who love the game of Basketball. CORE Hoops is committed to helping young men be and achieve their best both on and off the court. Our programs are designed to build confidence, develop, and improve skills needed to be an all-around better player and teammate.  At CORE Hoops, we believe in hard work, commitment, sportsmanship, respect, and honesty.

  • WINTER LEAGUE 2026 - REGISTRATION OPEN

    CORE Hoops Winter Basketball League is for Boys in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

    DATES: Games will be played on Saturdays starting at 8am at MBA
    December 6th
    December 13th
    January 3rd
    February 10th
    NO GAMES JAN 17TH (MLK WKEND)
    January 24th
    January 31st
    February 7th
    NO GAMES FEB 14TH (PRESIDENTS DAY WKEND)
    February 20th and 21st - End of Season Tournament 
    (NO GAMES 1/17, and 2/14)

    REGISTRATION:
    Players and Teams should register for the grade they are currently in for the 2025-2026 school year.  

    TEAM FEES
    IMPORTANT INFORMATION
    For 3v3, team fees cover 7 players
    For 5v5, team fees cover 10 players
    ANY additional players will need to register as an individual player and request to be placed on your team. Email for a discount code.  

    COST: 
    - K & 1st Grade - $1,000
    - 2nd - 8th  - $1250

    INDIVIDUAL PLAYER FEES
    - K & 1st Grade - $150
    - 2nd - 8th - $160

    Fees includes reversible jerseys, regular season and the end of season tournament.

    PRACTICES :For the Winter season, practice is NOT included. As a coach, you can request to rent practice space at a discounted rate during your registration. If your team is registering as individual players, please make sure you email once your players have registered to be added to the practice request list. Practice times rented out are on Sundays to avoid conflicts during the week with MBA Basketball games.  Practice space will be rented for $25 per session and sessions will be on one half court for one hour.

    GAME PLAY: 
    Current K & 1st grade will play 3v3
    Current 2nd - 8th grade will play 5v5


    REFUNDS:
    1. 100% refund prior to registration closing
    2. 50% refund prior to the week before the league begins
    3. NO refunds after the league begins
    4. We try hard to place every free agent to a team or create a free agent team. However, if we are not able to assign your son to a team or there are not have enough teams for the division to play, a refund of the registration fee will be processed.

  • CLINICS AND OPEN GYM - REGISTRATION OPEN

    SEPTEMBER EVENTS: 
    These September sessions are designed to teach your child the proper skills and information needed to compete while providing opportunity to quickly apply what they learn in the Sunday Open Gym games.  
    Register for each individually OR book all four sessions for a discount.

  • Personal and Small Group Training - REGISTRATION OPEN

    CORE Hoops Personal or Small Group Training is for boys 2nd - 8th Grade
     
    PERSONAL TRAINING
    Fundamentals are the foundation from which every player will develop their game.  Personal training sessions are meant to build confidence and develop your individual skills each session.   

    For more advanced players, CORE Hoops trainers will help you develop position-specific skills, motor function skills, multitasking, and reaction time. Each session is tailored to your skill level, position and individual needs.
     
     
    SMALL GROUP TRAINING 
    Don't get left behind the competition. Grab a few of your friends and sign up for a small group training that will focus specifically on what you all need to get better. Choose a date that works for your group and the session will be tailored to fits your needs

    Small group training sessions are very important in developing the complete player while taking your skills to another level. Despite being in a group setting, you will still develop individual skills, which will be applied in the team setting. Group sessions add an essential element to developing a Team Mindset and Team Skills when learning the game.

  • Summer Basketball League - REGISTRATION CLOSED

    CORE Hoops Summer Basketball League is for rising
    K - 8th grade Boys Only
    Registration will close on May 30th or when all spots are filled.

    League
     Details: Games will be played at Montgomery Bell Academy on Mon, Tues, and Thursday nights. Game start times will be: 5pm, 5:50pm, and 6:40pm. ONLY when necessary, we will have a 7:30pm game time. 
    EACH TEAM WILL PLAY AT LEAST ONE DOUBLE HEADER during the season.  
    Games will be played the weeks of: 
    • July 7th
    • July 14th
    • July 21st
    • July 28th
    • August 4th - End of Season Tournament
    Game nights are TENTATIVELY set for the following.  These can and may change depending on the volume of registrations for each division. Teams may be scheduled to play more than one time per week. EACH TEAM WILL HAVE AT LEAST ONE WEEK WHERE THEY PLAY A DOUBLE HEADER. This will ensure that each team has six regular season games before the end of season tournament. A forfeited game will count against the six games.

    TENTATIVE NIGHTS - THIS CANNOT and WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED UNTIL ALL REGISRATIONS ARE RECEIVED. Nights will be assigned based on the number of teams we have in each division.
    Monday nights - Rising 7th & 8th grade
    Tuesday nights - Rising K - 2nd grade
    Thursday nights - Rising 3rd - 6th grade


    Registration: Players and Teams should register for the grade they will be in for the 2025-2026 school year.

    Team registrations include a 50 min practice spot on a half court on Sundays during the leaguePractice times will be assigned. Requests are not guaranteed. Coaches can list preference on times when registering.
    • Boys Rising K - 2nd grade will play 3v3 = $1150
    • Boys Rising 3rd - 8th grade will play 5v5 = $1250
    IMPORTANT INFORMATION
    For 3v3, team fees cover 7 players

    Individual registration cost is $170
    When registering as an individual player, please list if you have a player or coach request on the registration. For registrations without a player or coach request, CORE Hoops will try to place each individual on a team. This is NOT a guarantee.  The best way to be placed on a team is to speak to parents of your sons friends to see if there on a team that may have space. In the event we are not able to, a full refund will be issued. 

    Practices - Each team will receive one, fifty minute practice spot on a half court on Sundays during the league. No additional times or practices will be given or rented out at MBA. As a coach, you can choose to practice anywhere and are NOT required to practice at MBA. 

    Game Play: 
    Rising K - 2nd grade will play 3v3
    Rising 3rd - 8th grade will play 5v5
