The Clef Hangers, The University of North Carolina's oldest a cappella group will be performing at MBA this Sunday, January 21 at 5:00 p.m. in the Paschall Theater.
The Clef Hangers have been a mainstay on the campus of UNC Chapel Hill since the late 70’s. Nashville native and MBA alumnus Chris Burrus ('14) has been the group’s President for the past two years and is thrilled to be performing in his hometown at the school which fostered his love of music and vocal performance. The Clef Hangers have performed for audiences in Spain, France, Scotland, Jamaica, Greece, Italy, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., New York, and numerous other locations. They recently performed for “The Today Show” and have accepted invitations to perform for former President and Mrs. Obama. They are invited by the Chancellor to sing each year at UNC’s Commencement Ceremonies and travel throughout the school year performing to sell-out crowds at various public and private events, which help to fund the groups production and recording expenses. The Clef Hangers have released over 20 albums.
