MBA finishes 3rd out of 22 teams in the Metro Freshman Championship
MBA finished 3rd out of 22 teams in the Metro Freshman Championship. Winning events for MBA were John Curry in the 110 high hurdles and Graham Ragsdale in the 800 and 1600. Graham Ragsdale was selected as the outstanding track athlete. The 1600 meter relay composed of John Curry, Sam Dugan, Charlie Buffkin, and William Wheeler won the event and also set a new school record of 3:39.08. The old record had stood since 1977.
