Big Red tie with BA in exciting game

MBA had to dig deep last night to force a tie against Brentwood Academy. The boys found themselves a goal down early on and had to wait until four minutes from time to get a deserved equalizer when Houston Oldham latched onto a headed pass from Matt Wieck to rifle home from a tight angle. Both teams had chances to score during open play with Matt Wieck twice going close, Houston Oldham and Andrew Fletcher forcing saves from the BA keeper while at the other end, keeper Alex Blanton kept MBA in the game with two great saves. Great credit has to be given to the boys for their never say die attitude and playing hard to the end.
