MBA opens the season in Murfreesboro, TN
The MBA wrestling team opened the season last night at Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, TN. The Big Red started the night with Rossview from Clarksville, TN and came away with a big victory by a score of 63-10. The team was lead to victory with wins from John Mark Bellet, Jeff Francis, Mark Simpson, John Donlon, William Reames, Davis Hunt, Daniel Todd, John Floyd, Max Jarrell, Rylan Browner and Charles Herron.
In the final match of the night the Big Red fell to host Blackman by a score of 33-28. Wrestlers who won in this match was Jeff Francis, Mark Simpson, Davis Hunt, Daniel Todd, Max Jarrell and Daniel Bellet.
Both matches were very exciting last night and the boys worked very hard. The MBA team is very young this year with 5 freshmen starting. Next up for the Big Red is Ravenwood next Tuesday Dec. 2nd at MBA starting at 5:30 PM.
