Crew Team Qualifies for Semi-Finals & Finals at SE Regionals

The Big Red Crew team had an outstanding day!  Four of the MBA boats are racing on Sunday May 5th in the semi-final and finals.  The Novice 4+ and the Varsity 4+ both advanced to the semi-finals from their heats today and will race to qualify for the grand finals in the morning.   The 2nd Varsity 4+ and the Varsity 8+ qualified for the grand finals today and will race for medals/national qualification in the afternoon.

 

The MBA Novice 8's today raced very strong today.  All boats raced their personal best races.  The 1st and 2nd novice eights missed the semi-final by one placing.   The future is very bright for the Big Red! 

 

The Varsity Lightweight four raced their personal fasted time down the course and also missed the semi-finals by one placing.

 

In addition the Novice 4+ from Harpeth Hall qualified for the semi-finals and will race in the morning as well.

• 1:32pm - Event 107 FINAL - Men's Youth Novice 4+ (c Hughes, 4 Richardson, 3 Hopp, 2 Pugh, 1 Boone) 
• 1:48pm - Event 109 FINAL - Men's Youth 2nd Varsity 4+ (c Owen, 4 O'Neal, 3 Habermann, 2 Cook, 1 Ingram)
• 2:12pm - Event 112 FINAL -  Men's Youth Varsity 4+ (c Huff, 4 McMahan, 3 Moore, 2 Adams, 1 Flack)
