Big Red Comes Through in the Clutch!

The Microbe Baseball A Squad earned its second victory of the week over the Nashville Monarchs in dramatic fashion.  MBA took an early 4 run lead powered by a strong pitching start by Cole Crider and 3 RBI from Miller Freeman.  The Monarchs fought back to take a lead into the bottom of the 7th inning.  With two outs Palmer Thombs crushed a triple.  Then with two strikes against him, Grant Ellison ripped a single to score Palmer and to tie up the score.  Ty Allen stuffed the Monarchs in the top of the 8th.  In the Big Red bottom of the 8th, Cole Crider drew a base on balls.  Daniel Lee moved him over with a bunt and then Brady Slinger drilled a single to right field to score Cole and give MBA the victory!
