Big Red Hangs On Versus Eagles

The Microbe Baseball A Squad proved too much for Nashville Christian outlasting the Eagles 8-6.  Palmer Thombs worked himself out of two tough jams without giving up a run.  Miller Freemen followed up with three shutout innings.  Daniel Cowen got the scoring going in the 1st inning with a RBI double and scored on a Palmer Thombs' double.  The Big Red gave the Eagles a little hope in the sixth inning, but Patrick Butner slammed the door by ending the game with a strikeout.
