The Pope's Astronomer to Make Return Engagement to MBA

Brother Guy Consolmagno, astronomer to the Pope, will be making a return visit to MBA to speak to the students, faculty, and community. Consalmagno will speak at the Monday morning assembly to the student body, followed by an open lecture to the community at 5:30 that evening in the Pfeffer Auditorium.

Brother Guy is the Director of the Vatican Observatory and President of the Vatican Observatory Foundation. His research explores connections between meteorites, asteroids, and the evolution of small solar system bodies and applying his measure of meteorite physical properties to understanding asteroid origins and structure.
