MBA Football Clinches Number 2 Seed, Bye for 1st Round

Coming off three straight state championship appearances, the Big Red football team capped it's regular season with another strong finish. The Big Red traveled to Chattanooga for the season finale and beat the Red Raiders 24-23 to finish the regular season 8-2. The record gave MBA the number two seed in the East-Middle Division and a bye this week for the TSSAA playoffs.

MBA will host the winner of Ensworth (4th seed in East-Middle Division) and Baylor (7th seed in East-Middle Division) who play each other this Friday night. MBA's first playoff game will be November 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the quarterfinals.
