MBA Tennis Wins Rotary Tournament, First Time Since 2010

MBA's varsity tennis team competed in the 62nd Annual Chattanooga Rotary Tournament on Friday and Saturday and for the first time since 2010, won the A Division of the tournament. MBA's 16 points was enough to edge out defending Kentucky state champion St. Xavier (14.5 points), defending Maryland state champion Gilman (13.5 points) and a talented Memphis University School squad (13 points) in the 8 team A bracket. 
 
All six singles players and all three doubles teams won their first round matches to get 9 important points on Friday. The other 7 points came from Matthew Bulow who won the 4-singles draw, Hugh Graham who won the 5-singles draw, Matthew Bulow and Richard Cummins who won the 2-doubles draw, and from Hugh Graham and Baylor Sai who won their 1-doubles semifinal over a talented squad from Gilman.
