MBA wrestlers open the season with a victory over Fairview and a loss to Arlington

The MBA wrestling team opened the season at the Father Ryan Duals over the weekend. In the first match MBA lost to state ranked Arlington High School out of Memphis, TN by a score of 51-24. In the following match, the MBA wrestlers rebounded and defeated Fairview 42-24. MBA wrestled very well considering we are without our football players. MBA wrestlers who won both their matches include: 9th Mac Russ, 12th Will Higgins, 9th Ethan Klindt and 12th Robby Barnes. Next up for the Big Red will be the Stewart Schay Wrestling Invitational at Houston High School in Memphis, TN.
