Remembering Chris Smith

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Chris Smith, a beloved coach, advisor, staff member and friend to many at MBA and beyond.
    
Chris began working at MBA in 2006 after serving as a volunteer coach for several years. Since that time he has served the school lovingly and faithfully, with trademark humility and wit. Whether he was working with his advisees, the Varsity lacrosse team, the 7th grade football team, or his colleagues in the A&D office, Chris modeled Chaucer's phrase: "His speech was always consistent with moral virtue. And gladly would he learn, and gladly teach."
  
MBA and the larger community have lost a great man. We extend our love and prayers to his wife, Liz, and their sons, Ben and Hank.
  
May flights of angels sing him to his rest.
