MBA Students Excel in 2022 State Math Competition

In April 2022, students from MBA and across the state competed in the State Math Contest. The Nashville-area competition took place at Lipscomb University. Due to the pandemic, this was the first time the contest was held since 2019. Over the past six months, scores from all regions across the state were gathered and consolidated. State-wide results were just released last week and MBA did exceedingly well, with 10 different students finishing in the top ten in the entire state of Tennessee, across four different math categories.Congratulations to the following MBA mathletes on this accomplishment:

• Algebra II - William Peng (3rd), David Ni (5th), Eric Chen (7th)
• Statistics - Mac Russ (2nd), Bill Ouyang (3rd)
• Calculus - Darwin Deng (2nd), Henry Pitt (3rd), Reid Groomes (9th)
