MBA Repeats as Team and Individual MATHCOUNTS State Champions

On Saturday, March 25th, MBA's MATHCOUNTS team competed in the State Tournament at the Adventure Science Center. Justin Guo led the Big Red by finishing first individually, winning the Countdown (Quiz Bowl) competition, and joining rare company as only the 6th student in MBA history to qualify for MATHCOUNTS Nationals as both a 7th and 8th grader (joining Kyle Davis, Tony Ding, Tony Huang, Baylor Sai, and Alex Wang). Justin has the potential to have the best National finish in MBA history when he represents Team Tennessee at the National competition in Orlando, Florida on May 13-16, 2023.
