Envirothon Captures 9th Place in World Championships

The MBA Envirothon team, consisting of Emmett Adams ('24), Luke Keller ('24), Michael Kong ('24), Alex Owings ('23), and Whit Uden ('24), placed 9th out of 51 teams in the Envirothon international competition, held from July 22-29 in New Brunswick, Canada. Teams from U.S. states, Canadian provinces, China, and Singapore competed in knowledge of forestry, aquatics, soil and land use, wildlife, and the 2023 current issue - "Adapting to Climate Change." The MBA team won their region in April and the Tennessee state competition in May to qualify for this National Conservation Foundation-sponsored International Competition.
