JS Tennis Blanks Brentwood Academy

Joseph Bromfield
In a dual match with Harpeth Hall at the John Bell Keeble Tennis Center this afternoon, the JS Tennis team played host to the Brentwood Academy boys and girls teams.  After 100 minutes of competitive tennis, the MBA lads proved their mettle once again defeating BA 5-0 in HVAC play, and 2-0 in exhibition play.

The entire team played different roles today, giving younger players a chance to shine in the final home match of the season before we host the HVAC Tournament next Tuesday.

A big congratulations to Eli Loudenslager, Cole Anderson, Rudi Wei, Jude Bonvissuto, and Armaan Singhvi for winning their first HVAC matches for the team.  The match of the day goes to the down-but-not-out doubles team of Cole Anderson and Rudi Wei who got off to a sluggish start going down 1-7 before getting a pep talk from Coach Farhoumand, staving off three match points, and charging back to win the match 9-8 (7-4) in the first tiebreaker of the season for any MBA tennis player.  Additional thanks to the Sahoo family for providing snacks and drinks and Dr. Tim Boyd for cheering his former JS tennis charges on to victory.

Roll red,
Coaches Bromfield and Farhoumand
