JS Tennis Triumphs to Take Home HVAC Hardware

This afternoon at the John Bell Keeble tennis center, the JS Tennis team swept to victories in nine of ten HVAC matches in the AA Boys Championships against quality players from USN, BA, and Ensworth. Additionally, the tennis lads racked up four out of five individual championships and the overall team championship. Special congratulations to the following HVAC champions: Robert Hobart: #2 Singles Champ Shaun Xu: #3 Singles Champ Eli Kraemer: #1 Doubles Champ (Two time HVAC champion) Henry Anderson: #1 Doubles Champ (Two time HVAC champion) Alp Weitkamp: #2 Doubles Champ Walker Dovan: #2 Doubles Champ In a repeat clash of last week's thriller vs. Ensworth, Gaurish Sahoo played valiantly in front of a loyal home cheering section, but ultimately lost his rematch in the championship round of the #1 singles bracket. The team thanks William Daughtrey, Susan Cobb, Mike Anderson, Mike Martin, John Vernacchio, David Smith, Des Daniels, and Caroline Scholer for their support at the courts this afternoon.
