MBA defeats Valor

Picking up where they left off against Harding Academy, the JS soccer team kept possession and regularly created chances without putting a ball into a net.  After a frustrating quarter of an hour without reward, Henry Chamberlain picked out Henri Perry, whose shot beat an impressive and athletic Valor keeper to open the scoring.

Soon after, the pair would combine once again to make the score at half 2-0.  In the second half, the floodgates opened and Henry Chamberlain, Briggs Waddey, Ahmad Abuali, Stone Trainer, and James Johnson each tallied goals, while Austin Piggee's silky foot skills forced a Valor own goal.

The boys are back at it tomorrow at 5pm on the home soccer turf against a typically physical CPA.
