In a thrilling match, the Junior School A Soccer were put on the back foot in the first 30 minutes by a significantly developed CPA team. Down 3-1 early in the second half, MBA showed a lot of fight and character putting in tackles, running relentlessly, and generally playing selfless passes. Eliot Chamberlain finished off a nice counter attack with a calm left footed finish to pull the Big Red into striking distance. Soon after, Will Adair earned a penalty, but CPA's goalkeeper stood on his head to make a save and preserve CPA's lead.
Though giving away an average of half a foot to each opposing player on the night to a fast CPA team, the boys proved to themselves that they can match the physicality of anyone. They look forward to playing another competitive Grace Christian team on Monday at 4pm.
