Big Red Falls to Ensworth

The freshman basketball team lost their home opener to Ensworth 76-43. Playing a tough opponent, the boys hung tough through the first half, closing to 25-21 in the latter part of the second quarter. But a tough shooting night combined with a late Tiger spurt punctuated by a 3 at the buzzer gave the visitors a 12 point lead at the break. The Big Red missed some good opportunities to start the 3rd and the lead ballooned from there. Despite the final score, the boys competed well and deserve a lot of credit for their overall effort.
