Big Red hold off late Irish Rally

Varsity basketball controlled most of the game, but some late turnovers and porous defense in the final minutes allowed Ryan to close the gap to 1 several times late.  Two key free throws by Kevin Die' put us up 3 with about 10 seconds to play and we were able to hold off Ryan's last shot.  Brunetti (13), O'Neal (13), Brown (11), and Die' (8) led the scoring.  Benton Brown played perhaps his best game as a high school player this evening and was a big part of the win.  This victory should assure us of hosting a game in the region tournament next week.  We're back at it tomorrow as we travel to BA to take on the Eagles.  Roll Red!
