MBA Wins 12th Consecutive Nashville City Championship

MBA took home its 12th consecutive Nashville City Championship last night from Harpeth Hall's Dugan Davis Track & Soccer Complex. Samuel Trumble also put his name on the board for the third time this year with a new school 1600m record.

†Samuel Trumble broke MBA's 1600m school record set by Eric Anderson in 2014 (4:16.88) by more than three seconds. Samuel's 800m time, his second race of the night, is the new MBA all-time second fastest 800m. He was 22 hundredths of a second from the school 800m record. 
 
Samuel's name is now on MBA's school record board four times: 1600m (2024), 3200m (2024), 4 x 800m Relay (2023), DMR (2024).
 
MBA next hosts the Metro Freshman Championship on Monday and a home meet against BHS, CPA, and Mt. Juliet Christian Academy on Tuesday at McDaniel Track.
