Mothers Club Helps MBA Welcome New Families

The Mothers Club helped Admission host a picnic for the new students and their parents on August 13th. Headmaster Brad Gioia welcomed the families as MBA’s Headmaster Singers followed with a wonderful performance. Mr. Gioia then introduced renowned speaker and author, the Rev. Tony Jarvis. Rev. Jarvis gave an incredible speech on issues of character and personal integrity in students’ lives. After the speech, the parents and students separated into breakout sessions. Teachers and parent volunteers were on hand to speak to new parents about classes as well as answer any questions. The new students met with junior school and high school principals, Mr. Thurmond and Mr. Tillman. The evening ended as parents and students came together at Currey Gymnasium for a delicious summer picnic. The gym was festively decorated in MBA school colors and parents had an opportunity to shop at the Big Red Store as well as the annual Used Clothing Sale. The Mothers Club would like to thank Mariann Morris and Beth Singer for chairing this event
