Extemp Debaters Do Well at St. Mark's

Three MBA extempers participated in the St. Mark's extemp tournament in Dallas over the weekend. With 60 competitiors in each of the extemp divisions, U.S. topics and foreign topics, Our extempers (2 juniors, one sophomore) had an outstanding weekend of competition.

Karthik Sastry made the final round in both divisions placing 3rd overall in U.S. topics and fourth overall in foreign topics. Teammate Will Stewart reached semifinals in foreign topics and quarterfinals in the U.S. division. Sophomore Hamilton Millwee reached quarterfinals in the U.S. topics division.

Congatulations to each of these extempers for their fine showing in representing MBA at a major tournament!
